Most of you probably already know me from either The Seville Library, or deviantART... or both... either way, this is my own personal little website showcasing my fan work (fan art, fanfiction, etc) for the Alvin and The Chipmunks franchise; as if you didn't already know, Alvin and The Chipmunks are a fictional group of singing, anthropomorphic chipmunks - the group consists of Simon (the smart one), Theodore (the hungry one), and of course Alvin... Alvin? ALVIN!!! The Chipmunks are managed by their adoptive, human father David "Dave" Seville, a singer/songwriter who took the boys in as his own after he found them in a basket, on his doorstep, when they were babies. The Chipmunks' best friends, and rival band are The Chipettes, which consist of Jeanette (the clumsy one), Eleanor (the athletic one), and Brittany (she's just Brittany, you can't teach her not to be); the girls live with accident-prone Miss Miller, a simple-minded, yet doting old lady who is a friend of the Seville family, and frequently babysits Alvin, Simon and Theodore for Dave. Alvin and The Chipmunks were introduced in 1958 by Armenian-American singer/songwriter Ross Bagdasarian (under the stage name of David Seville), and continued to enjoy success until the late 60s when they slowly disappeared, up until Bagdasarian's death in the early 70s; after that, Ross Bagdasarian, Jr. and his wife Janice Karman brought The Chipmunks back, and introduced The Chipettes in the early 80s, and have continued to keep them alive to this day. If you did not know any of that, you have the right to slap yourself.
